Yorkshire start their One Day Cup campaign vs Nottinghamshire

After one win, one loss and a draw in their opening three games of the new County Championship campaign, Yorkshire open up their campaign in the One Day Cup against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

The White Roses will have all of their English contingent available for their games against Notts and Lancashire on Bank Holiday Monday. Yorkshire head coach, Andrew Gale, will be hoping that his side can create a steady platform to build on prior to the international window.

Liam Plunkett is another set to make a welcome return to the side following a calf injury.

Having got to the semi final of the One Day Cup last year they will be buoyed of their chances this time around.

The Yorkshire Vikings have won six out of the last seven meetings with Notts Outlaws, coupled with 11 out of the last 13 on the road. These are all good omens for a Yorkshire victory.

Yorkshire return to County Championship action on May 19 against Lancashire at Headingley on the back of seven One Day Cup games.
