Since Theresa May called for a snap general election, over 100,000 students have registered to vote, in order to have their say.
With nearly 58,000 of those registering on the 18th of April, the day it was announced.
94% of the UK student population registered to vote in the EU referendum, only 36% of them tuned up on the day.
We went out and asked West Yorkshire students who they were voting for in this year’s General Election.
The most worrying result was that various people weren’t sure who they wanted to vote for.
The reason being that they feel they haven’t been educated enough on what the parties can do for their age group.
