Sheffield Wednesday will look to extend their six game winning streak against this season’s current top scorers Fulham at Hillsborough on Sunday.

The Owls have already secured a play off position, and if Reading beat Burton it could set up a replay of this fixture at Wembley in the Play -Off Semi Final on May 13th.

Fulham  cemented in sixth, and having all but secured their place in the play offs having a 13 superior goal difference to Leeds will look to end the season on a high heading into the Play-Offs . A win for Wednesday could take them into third if Reading fail to beat Burton Albion.

Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal, recently crowned Sky Bet Championship manager of the month for April, told the BBC after last week’s win over Ipswich.

“We prepare very well for the games and this is a result of a lot of hard work. Six wins in a row is fantastic that is something very special”.

Looking forward to the play offs after last week’s draw with Brentford, Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic told the BBC: “ We are not at Wembley right now, we need to be ready to play at Sheffield Wednesday in our final game”.

The two last met at Craven Cottage in November with  a late Scott Malone goal securing a point for Fulham in a 1-1 draw.
