A missing Leeds man is feared to be dead after a body was been found near the hotel in Turkey where he was staying.
Troy Ross disappeared after leaving his hotel in the resort of Fethiye on Saturday, April 30.
Concern for the 28-year-old Seacroft scaffolder has been mounting since Turkish newspapers claimed a body had been found in a nine-metre-deep pit in a wooded area near to the hotel.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said today: “[We are] liaising with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office following the discovery of a man’s body in Turkey.
“While the body is yet to be formally identified, we have appointed a family liaison officer to support the family of Troy Ross.”
