Leeds Digital Festival is back again this year, bigger and better than ever with more than 235 events happening over the space of 11 days. Sponsored by the likes of Sky Betting & Gaming, Yorkshire Water and First Direct, this year’s festival which started yesterday (Tuesday) and runs until May 3rd, is thriving with opportunities and chances to network with over 25,000 attendees. The Festival director – Stuart Clarke highlights the importance of sponsors and how they have continuously allowed this event to take place annually. “It’s an open platform and it’s supported by everyone in the City in this sector”
Leeds Digital Festival is designed to celebrate the innovations and talents which exist within the technical sector of Leeds which promote this city as a booming tech area in the North of the UK. With the aim to encourage creativity in the city, the festival is open to everyone – individuals or companies who want to put on an event.

DELIVERING SUSTAINABILITY INTO DIGITAL: GREEN DRINKS LEEDS APRIL 2019 is happening on Wednesday 24th April at 18:00-21:00PM at Moot Hall Arms, 11 Mill Hill, LS1 5DQ. This talk is a free event led by Sustainability Manager of NHS Digital – Ben Tongue who will be speaking about the impact of your digital sustainability footprint. This will be a great workshop for those who are wanting to find out solutions for being more sustainable.
MAKING SENSE OF AIR QUALITY IN ROUNDHAY PARK: DIGITAL WORKSHOP AND A SCIENCE WALK FOR FAMILIES is taking place on Saturday 27th April 10:45 AM–1:15 PM at The Ann Maguire Education Centre in Roundhay Park, Mansion Lane, LS8 2HH. This is a family friendly workshop involving a scientific walk which educates the importance of monitoring air pollution.
THE DIGITAL CIRCULAR ECONOMY – HOW YORKSHIRE IS GOING DIGITAL, SUSTAINABLE takes place on Friday 3rd May at 18:00–21:30PM at LS6 Café, 14-16A Headingley Lane, LS6 2AS. This is an intimate chance to group with digital loving people who care about Circular Economy and Sustainability. Additionally, an opportunity to network with those in industry and to understand the crucial relationship between technology and our planet.
