Bradford Park Avenue face Kidderminster on Wednesday night in the first of two games to decide the Semi-Finalists of the play-offs in the National League North.
Bradford PA had to wait until the final day of the season to secure their place, which they did by defeating Wednesday’s opponents Kidderminster 2-1.
A win would have secured a play-off place but they were drawing 1-1 going into the final moments of the game. In the final moments of the game, Bradford’s Adam Boyes found himself free in the box and he tapped home from close range to send his side into the play offs:
Boyes to men! It was probably the worst goal Bradford PA and Adam Boyes have scored this season… but it was easily the most important. It took them into the play-offs pic.twitter.com/FFDcZAc67R

Their 2-1 win over Kidderminster left them on the same number of points as their rivals for the final play-off place, Spennymoor Town. Bradford’s goal difference of ten, bettered Spennymoor’s four to gift them 7th place and a chance of promotion to the National League.
Bradford PA had looked out of it in the race for the play-offs. But they ended the season with five consecutive wins to achieve the unthinkable by confirming their place in the National League North play-offs.
Kidderminster are in very good form themselves heading into the game on Wednesday night. Prior to Saturday’s loss to Bradford, they were unbeaten in their last six with them drawing just one.
The other meeting between these two sides this season ended in a 1-1 draw, with it looking like their next meeting will be another closely contested affair. The winner of this game will face Brackley Town in the Semi-Final this Sunday.
Elsewhere in the National League North, Stockport County will face Chorley in the other play-off game on Wednesday night. This game will decide who will face Harrogate in the other Semi-Final. The National League North play-off Final will take place on Sunday the 13th of May at Wembley.
