Bake Off’s Nadiya lands own television show

By Daria Wojtas

Leeds’ favourite queen baker Nadiya Hussain has bagged herself her own television show. The Chronicles of Nadiya will follow Nadiya’s journey in her home country of Bangladesh, where she explores food and cuisine that’s close to home.

Nadiya was first acknowledged for her talent on The Great British Bake Off, on BBC One, where she won series 6. It’s debatable whether the show is in fact loved for its talented contestants or for Mary Berry’s continuous rise on the high fashion ladder.

She has since appeared as a guest panelist on Loose Women and just recently, had the privilege of baking The Queen’s 90th birthday cake.

The Chronicles of Nadiya is set to air later this year on BBC One.
